About Picosalax

Picosalax is a bowel cleanser designed to clean your bowel prior to your colonoscopy and make it easier for the Doctor to see things clearly with the camera.

To get the optimal benefit from Picosalax it is important that you take it in accordance with your Doctor’s instructions.  

The success of your colonoscopy depends on the bowel being as clear as possible. Otherwise the colonoscopy may need to be repeated.

It is important to drink ALL of the Picosalax and ALL of the additional clear fluids as instructed by your Doctor, Nurse or Pharmacist.
